![]() Weight loss and becoming healthier doesn’t have to be hard. This book so great because it is easy to read, logically laid out and full of hints and tips the whole way. She knows the challenges that over eaters and/or chronic dieters face and you can hear the hope in her voice that comes through when she finally found Keto! Kim says it was like the light went on and it clicked!!! I felt a connection with her after reading and you will too! When I read Kim’s book I was like “this chick gets me!” You can hear the pain and the struggle she has been through. I feel like they don’t have any clue what I have been through as an overweight child all the way to being an obese college student. ![]() I don’t know about you but I hate it when naturally skinny people tell me how to be thin. The great thing about her book is that she writes from experience with her own health and weight problems. She lost 40 lbs and was so excited she had to share keto with the world. Well now there is in the new bookfrom Kim Knoch of Eat Fat Lose Fat Blog. I wished there was one easy guide to follow with all the tips and tricks in one place from a veteran who has tried it herself. I had some questions myself when I wanted to try ketois but all the info was hard to find and scattered all over the web. ![]() I also wrote about it in more detail here and here. Keto Chocolate Gelatin Pudding Want to learn more about Ketosis? I have another version of this keto chocolate gelatin pudding here but this one is easier and a little more fluffy. I like this one because it is from grass fed cows. It helps detoxification and even reduces wrinkles and cellulite because it full of collagen. This keto chocolate gelatin pudding recipe is made with healthy gelatin that is very healing for the gut lining, skin, nails and hair. Of course you can just add honey or maple syrup if you just want a Paleo version that is not so low carb. Each tablespoon of this grass fed gelatin had 6 grams of protein, but a little goes a long way. Protein has to be moderate to maintain ketosis. This Keto Chocolate Gelatin Pudding is perfect for ketosis because it is low in carbs, high in fat and low in protein. Of course always ask your doctor before trying a new diet or nutritional program. There are some reports that it is hard on the adrenals and thyroid but I think that is on an individual basis and the jury is still out. Of course listening to your own body is key and giving it an honest try as ketosis takes several weeks to get into. It is important to monitor your lab tests and work with a holistic knowledgeable practitioner. It has been used to help cancer in adults and for seizures with kids with doctor supervision, of course. I am not saying this approach is for everyone by any means but it can be a tool for adults who may have had metabolic damage such as obesity and/or who have been on yo-yo diets for years. They have all found healing and weight loss with this approach when they had tried many other things. Recently I have been learning more about the ketogenic diet from my friend Kim Knoch and Freda Mooncotch. This chocolate gelatin pudding recipe is keto or ketosis friendly.
